Focusing on two key approaches: Regulatory Climate Governance and Collaborative Climate Governance, this guest lecture discusses a comprehensive exploration of these strategies. We aim to deepen our understanding of effective governance mechanisms for addressing the pressing challenges of climate change.
In the first part, we delve into Regulatory Climate Governance, which involves the development and implementation of policies, regulations, and legal frameworks to mitigate and adapt to climate change. We examine how governments and international bodies set standards, establish targets, and enforce compliance to drive climate action and promote sustainable practices.
The second part focuses on Collaborative Climate Governance, emphasizing the importance of cooperation, partnerships, and participatory approaches in addressing climate change. We explore how diverse stakeholders, including governments, civil society organizations, businesses, and communities, collaborate to develop inclusive and innovative solutions. We shed light on successful case studies and highlight the power of collective action in achieving meaningful climate outcomes.
Through this video, we strive to foster a deeper understanding of the multifaceted nature of climate change governance and inspire informed discussions on effective strategies for a sustainable future.
