Courts and Constitutional Democracy
Indonesia’s democratic process in 2024 is still ongoing and has entered the discussion of the General Election Results Dispute (PHPU) at the Constitutional Court (MK). From the trial of this issue, the Constitutional Court Judge gave a decision that was “Dissenting Opinion”. Of course, there are pros and cons in the community against this decision. So, what are the views of foreign parties regarding the Constitutional Court’s decision, as well as Indonesia’s judicial system and democracy in general?
